Relocation of state institutions in buildings with improved energy conditions
The Danish Building and Property Agency has prepared analyses, which show that there is a possibility for up to 20-50 state institutions (primarily governmental operating institutions such as agencies and directorates, etc.) to achieve better energy conditions by moving to buildings with better energy conditions, which also have less expensive locations and a better use of space.
An example of relocation to more energy-efficient buildings with a more efficient space utilisation (a smaller area in itself contributes to reducing energy consumption) is the relocation of the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, the Danish Building and Property Agency and the Danish Maritime Authority on Carl Jacobsensvej in Valby.
Energy labels in the Danish Building and Property Agency's properties
So far, we have been prepared 200 energy labels for our SEA properties (State Property Management properties), which only consist of office buildings.
The Danish Building and Property Agency uses the energy labels of the properties actively to improve energy consumption in the state's properties and private leases. It results in better buildings with lower energy consumption.
